Ich wurde am 13. Oktober 1991 in Bad Reichenhall am süd-östlichen Ende von Deutschland geboren. Mein musikalischer Werdegang begann mit sechs Jahren, als ich zum ersten Mal im Klavier Unterricht meiner Schwester in die Tasten hauen durfte. Ein Jahr später bekam ich schließlich selbst Unterricht auf dem Piano. Da in dem Unterrichtsraum auch ein Schlagzeug stand, wurde nach kurzer Zeit ein Teil der Klavierstunde dazu benutzt, ein bisschen Krach auf dem alten Sonor Set zu machen. Und schon schlug mein Herz - quasi rhythmisch - für die Drums und das Schlagzeugspiel. 2001 bekam ich von meinem Klavier- und Schlagzeuglehrer mein erstes Schlagzeug – das gleiche Set, das mich damals im Unterrichtsraum in seinen Bann gezogen hatte. 

Dies war auch der Startschuss für meine Bühnenlaufbahn. Im gleichen Jahr hatte ich meinen ersten Auftritt als Snare Drummer mit dem Gospelchor „Gospelspirit“ in einer Kirche in Freilassing (Bayern) mit dem Song „Little Drummer Boy“. Die folgenden acht Jahre war ich als Pianist, Drummer, Perkussionist und Sänger ein Teil dieses Chores.

Ich machte mir durch meine Fähigkeiten und meine Flexibilität rasch einen Namen in der Region und wurde von diversen anderen Gospel Formationen engagiert. So wurde ich in den Jahren 2010, 2011 und 2012 der Bandleader des Gospelfestivals „Gospeltrain“ in Freilassing und begleitete die Gospelgrößen Helmut Joos, Ruthild Wilson, Joakim Arenius (Schweden) und Hans-Christian Jochimsen (Dänemark) an den Drums.

Schon als Gymnasialschüler erhärtete sich mein Wunsch, Musik zu studieren und Berufsmusiker zu werden. So zog ich im Alter von 19 Jahren schließlich ins sonnige Freiburg und begann mein Musikstudium am International Music College Freiburg. Diese Ausbildung mit Hauptfach Drums, Nebenfach Piano und Schwerpunkt Pädagogik schloss ich im Juli 2015 als Jahrgangsbester ab. 

Neben meinem Studium reiste ich mehrmals nach Kopenhagen, um die „International School of Gospel Music“ zu besuchen. Dort wurde ich von renommierten Gospel Künstlern aus der ganzen Welt, wie Claes Wegener (Dänemark), Nina Luna Eriksson (Dänemark), Sounds of Praise (Harlem New York, USA), Sarah Moshage (Dänemark), Rune Herholdt (Dänemark), Colin Vassel (England) und vielen weiteren Dozenten in Chorleitung, Gesangstechnik, Gospel Piano und Lead Gesang unterrichtet. Während diesen Fortbildungen hatte ich auch diverse Gastauftritte mit unter Anderem Mark Taylor (USA) und dem erfolgreichen Gospelchor „Paris Gospel“ (Frankreich).

Bis heute folge ich meinem inneren Anspruch, besser zu werden, indem ich weiter Fortbildungen besuche und im regen Austausch mit Musiker-Kollegen aus aller Welt stehe. Davon profitieren meine Schüler (egal ob Gesang, Klavier oder Drums), meine Chöre und alle Konzertbesucher. Gleichermaßen hat es großen Einfluss auf meine Werke und Arrangements.

Meine Vielseitigkeit brachte mir während des Studiums zahlreiche Engagements in verschiedenen Bereichen ein. So z. Bsp. als Background Sänger der Symphonic Metal Band „Xandria“ auf deren Album „Neverworld’s End“, als Arrangeur und/oder Chorleiter für diverse Chöre, als Coach bei Bandförderungsprojekten, als Gastdozent an sozialen Einrichtungen oder als Percussionist beim Musical „AIDA“. Bevor ich 2022 zurück in meine bayerische Heimat zog, war ich rund 6,5 Jahre Dozent für Chorleitung, Piano, Jam Session und Vocal Teaming an der "Professional Academy for Performing Arts" (Stuttgart). Bis Februar 2024 war ich 6 Jahre lang festes (Gründungs-)Mitglied im "ENNEA vocalensemble" (Stuttgart, Schorndorf) als Sänger und Percussionist. Zusätzlich zu meinen festen Engagements werde ich regelmäßig als Substitute Drummer – für Bands, wie die „Saubartln“, "Mallebartln" oder „Exit 207“ aus Österreich – engagiert und spiele auf internationalen Bühnen von Kroatien, über Dänemark bis nach Spanien. Außerdem bin ich derzeit als Chorleiter bei "ROCK'N'HALL" (Bad Reichenhall), "Chocolate Gospel Choir" (Schorndorf), "Rock- & Pop-Chor Neckargröningen" und "Living Spirit Gospel Choir" (beide Remseck a.N.) und als Entertainer bei "Remseck Singt" aktiv. Darüber hinaus biete ich Privatunterricht in den Bereichen Schlagzeug/Drums, Percussion, Gesang/Stimmbildung/Vocal Coach, Klavier/Piano, Chor-Arrangements, Gehörbildung und Harmonielehre an.

Um mein Musikangebot zu vervollständigen sei zudem erwähnt: Ich begleite gerne emotionale Momente, wie Begräbnisse, Hochzeiten, Gottesdienste, Geburtstagsfeiern oder andere. Dabei verspreche ich eine emotionale, sowie professionelle Gestaltung des gewünschten musikalischen Rahmens. Zu meiner größten Leidenschaft zählt neben klassischem Schlagzeugen  auch alles, was mit Percussions zu tun hat. Jedes Instrument, das durch Pusten, Schütteln oder Schlagen und die, dadurch erzeugten, Schwingungen einen Klang erzeugt, ist ein Mehrwehrt für mich als Musikliebhaber. Darum besitze ich eine enorme Sammlung an bekannten (Djembe, Cajon, Conga, Tambourin, diverse Shaker...) wie auch weniger bekannten (Hanpan, Steel Drum, Ocean Drum, Timbales, Kalimba, Talking Drum, Ibu, Berimbao...) und vielen weiteren Percussion-Instruments. Ausgewählte und handgemachte Unikate und, in Serie produzierte, Klassiker beleben jedes Konzert, bei welchem ich als Percussionist engagiert bin.

I was born on October 13th in 1991 in Bad Reichenhall, a small town in the south east of Germany. My musical journey began at the age of 6 as I played the piano in my sister’s lesson for the first time. 1 year later I was taught the piano in the same room. In this very room there stood an old Sonor drum set so I took some time off the piano lesson to hit the drums. From that moment on my heart was "beating" for the drums. At the age of 10 my parents bought me my first drum set – it was that old Sonor kit!

This was the launch for my career on stage. In 2001 I had my first gig as a Snare drummer with the Gospel choir “Gospelspirit” in a small church in Freilassing (Bavaria) performing the song “Little drummer boy”. The following 8 years I was part of the choir as a piano player, drummer, percussionist and singer.

Due to my skills and my flexibility I soon was booked by other Gospel choirs in the region. In 2010, 2011 and 2012 I was the bandleader of the Gospel festival “Gospeltrain” in Freilassing and therefore I hit the stage as a drummer with famous Gospel artists such as Joakim Arenius (SWE) and Hans-Christian Jochimsen (DEN).

In high school I already knew that I wanted to become a professional musician and so at the age of 19 I moved to Freiburg to go to the International College of Music. In July 2015 I successfully graduated as the valedictorian. Meanwhile I travelled several times to Copenhagen to attend the International School of Gospel Music, where I was taught by some well known Gospel artists such as Claes Wegener (DEN), Nina Luna Eriksson (DEN), Sounds of Praise (Harlem New York, USA), Sarah Moshage (DEN), Rune Herholdt (DEN), Colin Vassel (GB) and many more. In addition to the lessons in choir conducting, complete vocal technique, Gospel piano and lead singing I had several appearances with Mark Taylor (USA) and “Paris Gospel” (FRA).

Even today I pursue my inner aspiration to grow as a musician by attending further education and through lively exchange with my musical colleagues from all over the world. Thereof all my students (in singing, piano or drums), my choirs and the audience benefit enormously. Likewise these further educations have a great impact on my songs and arrangements.

Due to my versatility I managed to grab many engagements in various musical genres. For instance, as a backing singer for the symphonic metal band “Xandria” on their record “Neverworld’s End”, or as choir conductor, as coach for newcomer bands, as guest teacher at public schools and as percussionist at the musical “AIDA”. Before I moved back to my bavarian home town in 2022 I was working as a teacher for choir conducting, piano, jam session and vocal teaming at the "Professional Academy for Performing Arts" for over 6 years. I was a (founding) member of the "ENNEA vocalensemble" (Stuttgart/Schorndorf, GER) as a singer and percussionist for 6 years until February 2024. Besides my current engagement, I am regularly booked as substitute drummer – for bands, such as “Saubartln”, "Mallebartln" or “Exit 207” from Austria – and I claim international stages from Croatia to Denmark to Spain. In addition to that I am currently booked as a choir conductor by "ROCK'N'HALL" (Bad Reichenhall, GER), "Chocolate Gospel Choir" (Schorndorf, GER), "Rock- & Pop-Chor Neckargröningen" and "Living Spirit Gospel Choir" (both in Remseck a.N., GER) and as a entertainer by "Remseck Singt". Furthermore I offer private lessons in drums, percussion, piano, singing, arranging, ear training and muscial theory.

Besides the drumming all the elements of percussion belong to my passion. Every instrument, which makes a sound out of blowing, shaking or hitting, is an enrichment for me as a music lover. Therefore I own a huge collection of well known (such as Djembe, Cajon, Conga, Tambourin, several shaker...) as well es not so common instruments (such as Hanpan, Steel Drum, Ocean Drum, Timbales, Kalimba, Talking Drum, Ibu, Berimbao...) and many other. Well selected and handmade unicums and, in series produced, classics enlive every concert or production, in which I am involved as a percussionist.
